A book case for my house. “A” skin birch ply wood for the body. Alder face frame. Minwax stain and Poly finish. Not very fancy but it should hold a couple books.Thanks for taking a look.

Nice looking functional book case. A whole lot better than the one I made in High School way back when. Someday it might donate the walnut it is made from.

Nice and functional. I like the added flair with the molding on the top. Did you leave the knothole in there so that you could put something electronic on the top shelf and have a space through which to put the power cord?

@JoeinDE. Nope didn’t notice the knot had fallen out until I posted the pic. Had it on its back to shoot the finish and didn’t see I had left a piece behind when I stood it up. Will probably run a trim strip alog that back edge to cover it .
