I am planning on making a nice Majestic pen for my girlfriend’s father for Christmas, and turned any pens until today. I decided to order a few Slimline kits to practice on first instead of diving right in to something complex and messing up a $20 kit.

I think for my first pen, it turned out fairly nice and was a breeze to assemble.

Finished with six coats of CA glue, sanded with micro mesh to 12000, and then buffed with high gloss HUT polish. Not crazy about sanding and finishing Cocobolo, but it sure looks nice.

Critiques and what not welcome. Thanks for looking!

Looks darn nice to me…..if all else fails, you GFs father would probably like this one just fine.
