This was a bookcase that was designed to match the Smithsonian Murphy Bed and Two Desk project. It features a longer bookcase that is goes all the way in the corner and a smaller one that mounts to it.
It was completed in October 2011 and built using Maple wood. The finish was a dye stain/wiping oil stain combination.

Nice cabinet, but man that wall in pic 2 is out of plumb.

LOL Z. That was my fake cardboard wall hiding the bathroom doors. I say there was a slight slop to it.

Napaman, I did but I was after a double door look. The customer had a picture. I wish I would have, by shrinking the project to make everything fit, made the doors small. Larger doors would have been easier. I also couldn’t visualize the single door when open and if it would be okay in respect to access. What do you think?

I still love it…but that was one of my first questions…with such a tight fit maybe one door would work…but the double doors give it that classic look…

You may be right on that. If I had to I could have put some 170 degree hinges on there to open wider.
