My good friend Bam asked me the other day if I remembered my first ever chainsaw carved mask. I started about 10 years ago and I estimate that I have done at least 300. The exact figure may be closer to 500 but I can’t remember and unfortunately have not documented all of them. This morning I began investigating my old pics.

The mask featured I will establish today as my first ever chainsaw carved mask. It was from one solid piece of pine and the tongue is hanging out of the mouth not resting on the chin. It was not always painted this way, but I remember decorating this way for a Halloween costume party. That is the reason for the breathe holes. You can see the elastic head harness as well. I am not exactly sure of who has this mask now but I beleive Dogg may have it. If that’s the case, that’s fine with me because I have his first ever proudly hanging on my wall at home.
