salvage of a nicked bowl

Made this simply waved bowl, but when removing it from chuck fell on the scraper and nicked the top. A friend suggested me to extend the scratches in ornament, 4th pics. Maple wood, 18cm 7” diameter 5cm 2” height.

That came out very nice. I love it when you can morph the original design into another great one when a problem happens. You have to be always thinking on your feet! Great save. Thanks for sharing the project!........Jim
