I made three of these as my first furniture projects other than foot stools. Believe it or not I tapered the legs with a Porter Cable circular saw using a jig that held the leg blank at the right angle, then my saw ran atop wood rails with a straight edge on one side. Fairly simple really and almost easier than using a table saw. The aprons attach to the legs with tenons. The top is attached with shop made wood buttons. SYP finished with linseed oil and Danish Oil.
