Lathe tool handles for spindle gouges

Have the week off so have been spending more time on the shop.

The wood one is made from colored plywood from Jock Mike (Hacksaw007).

The other is made from a piece of 1” x 16” aluminum bar stock. Then wrapped with nylon clothes line.

Bob, did you turn the aluminum stock on your lathe by hand????
