This is a project that I made my freshman year in wood shop. It is a mahogany poker table with some walnut accents. This was my first real project that i made and designed all on my own (still have the original plans). When I first told my teacher what I wanted to make his response was “Good luck” lol. Then he realized I was serious and gave me a few tips in the design process. It is all solid mahogany with walnut inlays in the border and a walnut frame on the bottom of the pedestal. The top is a piece of teak ply to help resist moister if a spill where to happen, it is covered in green poker table cloth. It was a fun project that was a huge learning experience for me that really go me hooked on wood working. There are some things that I would have done different looking back at it now but I am still extremely happy with it and I love playing cards on a table that I have built.

Nice looking poker table; good job.
