It’s a beaut; got the blank from woodheadz.com
sanded to 400 & finished with glossy wipe on poly.

That looks real good. What lathe do you have ?
I am thinking of buying a wicmarc vl150 do you know that one ?
Right now i have a copy of a jet but i want something better.

I have a delta; I’m unsure of the specific model it’s a 12” x 48” model though I’ve never turned anything but bowls on it.
I bought it from my mentor for $150 bux; and it came with all sorts of goodies like a tools some wood chunks and even a grinder!
Now I don’t know how I’ll ever part with it even thought it’s not that fantastic of a lathe… since my Mentor passed away this past August… every time I do something with that lathe I have fond Memories of the time spent with Randy.
