We were inspired when we saw a few of these floating around LJ’s so
my Son and I decided we would try to make a compact travel version.
Found some scrap 4/4 Mahogany, wrapped it with a little piece of slotted Oak.
Created some little Men—Holly, Ebony, Teak & Walnut. Printed some game direction off the
Internet. All fits neatly in the bottom. We couldn’t wait for the Danish Wood Oil to soak in so we could give it a try!

Thanks to others who have posted these for the inspiration what a Great game!

Nice Nick.

Going into the favorite file for later use.

I used to live in the Hampton Roads area. (Hampton, Newport News, Yorktown then out west to Stuarts Draft)

Very attractive and nicely done. Got the big one but a travel version is on the books now.
Love the storage solution, especially the player well.
Hope you have better luck beating your son than I do with my daughter.

I’ve never heard of this game before, but I’ve filed it under topics to “Google” later! The board looks great, looks like a fun project to make.
