Wanted to post a few more Legless Cheese Death Tables (LCDT’s) that came off the finish table this morning.
Nothing fancy or awe-inspiring. Just posting to show some of the various handle configurations. As you will notice, some of these boards have no handles which allows for dual cutting surfaces, or cutting on one and counter-top display of the other. Some of them have long-edge handles which give them an interesting profile, while others have short-edge handles.
A mix of species with predominant cherry sticks.
All finished with 50/50 mix of salad bowl finish and mineral spirits. All boards are approximately 14” long and just proud of 1-1/2” thick.
As per my previous project, the numbers in the lower left were from my personal blog so that folks could lay claim to certain boards.
As always, I hope they inspire.
