Cutting this oak burl was like cutting steel. The bowl is very heavy but my photos can’t capture the beautiful color variations and the impact of the lava like inclusions. This piece made itself and I just went along for the ride. Got the oak wood from a firewood yard. The bowl is 12” diameter and 6” height.
More rustic stuff from Robert…11 months into my turning experience.
