I built this a few years back with circular saw only. My daughter wanted a low coffee table to fit a very specific space in her apartment (she’s back home now, where these pix were taken). I had some pressure treated deck boards left over so I used them – they’re coated/sealed with several coats of poly so homefully the bad stuff isn’t leaching out. Anyway I thought it was temporary, kind of like the cable spool many of us used as a coffee table in college. But she still has it, makes a pretty good foot stool anyway.
