Jewelry racks, primitive and rustic

I get quite a few requests for custom jewelry racks for people who sell jewelry at vendor shows. But some of my racks get used at home too. (Remember these David? LOL) I use cut nails – predrill then pound in the nails. The paint job is my own prim finish. Layer the paint, sand to distress and finish with a final coat of stain: wipe on wipe off. The pics with stuff on the racks were sent to me by customers.

Hi Kelly,
I love the first one, kind of ‘Japanese’ look, really simple and elegant.
A warm thought,

Thanks you guys. I am looking forward to the doldrums of winter. I have discovered if you want to sell stuff (not that I sell much really) but sell anything at all in this dire economy it has to be very affordable and very functional. So, for example (for most hacks like me) if you like to paint- as in “art” then paint on a set of coasters or something like that- so the art is useful beyond hanging on a wall. Just my observation.

Rivergirl,

Good to see you back! Wow, that’s a lot of very nice stuff you’ve posted! Do you sell on etsy or ebay? If you do, put a link somewhere in every project because the search engines update their searches from sites with a large number of users and traffic more often than they do smaller sites. Make the link go to a list of your items, not just the item you have listed. So after the listing is gone, the link will still bring up your items that are listed for sale.

Kelly, these are wonderful. Where in the world have you been anyways? I almost missed all of these posts because I’ve been involved in moving an interior wall in our plant building and lots of break downs to.

It sure is good to have you back, Kellygal. :)

Hello Charles! I have been raising puppies and working out in the garage- selling little junk online. Soon I will be caught up and looking forward to a little break.
