Zoom Pictures

I have a Christmas show this weekend, was on a marathon to get this little guy done. Now off to the dentist after clenching my teeth, LOL! Photo stinks, I know, but I was in a hurry, it looks better in the zoom.
As much as it’s hard to tell, the whites are not white rather the natural color of basswood and all the browns are stains not paints.

Oustanding work, Jordan.

every time I look at this I see a guy starting out in speed skating – a little nervous, but big in heart and spirit :)

Fantastic piece.

Oh crap, my dental appointment was YESTERDAY!!!! I’m so out of my mind these days with so many things going on.
I really love carving these little bears you guys but you well know that they would never work to sell, just too much time for too little money.

Mark, he is 11” tall – no particular scale, juts out of my head.

Dez, a fellow I know tried to copy one of my bears and he just did the front half until he got the hang of it, then later did one in the round and not a bad job either.

Grizz and Debbie – just as long as you know that my ‘gear’ nowadays is racing skis not skates. It got boring, LOL! This team tales videos too for training so I’ll be sure and show you one. However I just may carve a skier, maybe a ski bear! Or maybe me, I don’t know.

haha well I haven’t seen a picture of you in your ski apparel .. I guess you will just have to pose for us, imitating the bear.

Jordan,

That hocky bear is fantastic….once again you have made another carving that appears so realistic that it is truly impossible to believe this is made from wood. They could use this as a model for a great children’s story….I bet it will be very poplular at the show…especially if the show is in Canada.

Pretty soon you are going to have to figure out how to clone yourself. With all the great stuff you are turning out….and at such tight deadlines. I have threatened to do that myself but my better half said that the world would not be ready for more than one of me….LOL…..I don’t know what she means…

I love it Jordan, and that’s saying a lot for a Canucks fan. We’ve never been to friendly with the Flames and as of recently we’re not too big on Bruins either :-)

Thanks Reggie – I wish I could turn these out faster as many would like the same thing but with their favourite team crest…which is why I will only display him at the show instead of sell.
Yes, I reckon two of each of us would send the world into deep despair! LOL.
