A couple more of the “Doughnut” Challenge coin holders.
Made from the same Indian Dontknow as some of my other projects.
Each coin is cut so you can see through part of it.
The second holder I turned with the profile of an anchor.
Both were sanded to 320 grit, then polished with the Bealle system.

Very cool idea. Are the coins simply ‘pressed’ into place, or epoxied?

Some are pressed.
Others are superglued.
Problem is the wood/metal expansion/contraction coefficients are so different that the press-ins get loose sometimes.
Still trying to figure out a good fix.
Gonna try some RTV next I think.
Any suggestions are welcomed.
