Wowie Glynn, you’re “opening up” all sorts of possibilities here, a very imaginative piece indeed, not to mention the tight jointed segmentation & turning.

Very creative. Were the feathers added on after the hole was cut out or was that portion of the vessel segmented maple?

Amazing! Your segmented vessel is beautiful in its self and then you top it with a carving! You are very imaginative and creative as well as a true craftsmen!!

I saw this on the “top 15 of the day”—it is stunning!! The design and the craftsmanship. Definitely deserving of the top 15 recognition.
