LJ’s
Last week I made this box. It’s always fun to make boxes but when you get to work with stunning wood that’s even better!! The pieces of walnut are fantastic, walnut is such a nice wood to work with.
This box will be sold and the money will go to charity. KIKA is an organisation which helpes childeen fighting cancer.
I’ve put some more pictures on my blog for the people who want to see more
Thanks for watching

Very handsome box… I especially like the latch set up on the front. Gives the piece a nice feel… May have to borrow the idea… I really like.
Well done!

Lovely piece. It has a very warm and integrated feel to it. It flows well from the outside to the inside and doesn’t disappoint when the lid opens. Nicely done.

What a great job! This is beautiful the walnut & what I assume is birdseye. Love the front as well as the divider. You nailed this and a great cause to boot.

Beautiful box, I love the closing mechanism.
Yes that sure is wonderful wood, and then with your kind gesture, it don’t get better than that.
Best thoughts,
