I first made this big one for a 20” x 30” print I just had made of one of my favorite scenic spots, looking south just outside of Natural Bridges NP in Utah.
It turned out pretty good so I started in on some 8” x 10”
I left some traces of the bark on most of them, kinda more rustic, rustic look.

Doug….its just plain old southern yellow pine.

Dave where I live we have “just plain old white pine”
would love southern yellow to work with.
