This headboard is attached to the wall and does not touch the ground. Thought it would look cool to make one that gives the appearance of floating. The whole bed is framed and skinned with door skin and capped with pine. The stain is puritan pine finished with poly about 4 coats. I didn’t make the drawers underneath but have in the past. The lines in the headboard are acrylic bent and is supposed to light up when the lights are on inside. The shelves also have lights inside that light up when they are on.
I don’t like the way it lights up so I don’t even turn it on. If a customer asks I just say that the strips and shelves are just for looks lol.
Any idea on how I could make the light disperse on the shelves and strips evenly ??

Very interesting and unique headboard.
I wish I could help you with the lights but I haven’s a clue.
