At the end of my last project I mentioned that I was looking for a lathe after the mastercraft mini lathe broke. Due to the limited space in my basement, I went with the General international Maxi-lathe (Not Variable Speed). These are some of the first projects I’ve done on it. The first bowl is made of the same stuff a lot of my projects are made of, some spalted (birch?) from my driveway. The second was a little scrap of cedar. I liked the look of the burnt lines, so I used it in both!
Each are about 2.5 inches in height and diameter, give or take
