So, I just got my first bandsaw. And what better thing to do with a bandsaw, then make a bandsaw box? I know it ain’t very pretty, especially compared to boxes I’ve seen recently on Lumberjocks! I glued together 2” x 10” x 1” cedar scraps that I bought for a buck a long time ago with some other scraps until I had a good sized chunk of wood. I really just wanted to do some practicing on the saw and see what types of radiuses and what could be possible. I had no design…I just stuck the wood in and started cutting. I left the interior unfinished to hopefully retain the aroma of the cedar. It was pretty fun…but I’ll definitely be getting a better blade! My next one will be better.

That looks really good. I like all the contrasting wood colors, even though its the same kind.
