Height Tracking Wooden Ruler

This is a terrific idea. I have a number of friends with small kids, and something like this would be a great gift.

I first traced the numbers from a printout to the wood using a good bit of pressure with an ink pen. Then I used a paint marker. Remember, the lines are marked at every inch, so the feet are 1/12 instead of 1/16 as is standard on a regular ruler.
