Cedar Hope Chest will rapidly become our favourite piece of furniture. It measures 48” wide, 24” high and 17” deep. Cushion is a beautiful Tapestry pattern 3” High. It’s handmade from solid cedar, and finished with three coats of varnish for incomparable beauty and durability.

Beautiful chest. It looks like it matches whatever piece is in the backround behind it. Are the drawers fake, and the top opens?? More pictures please!!

That is so very nice. :D I love the fact that it is upholstered… so many of us woodworkers can’t or won’t do that. It’s a nice, and comfortable, touch!

Anyone wishing to make one of these chest, for their wife,daughters or girlfriends here are the planes. It make an excellent Christmas gift. All it takes is a long weekend and 125.00 in material. Better than buying something made in China. Appreciated a lot more and something that will last forever instead of 6 months. Thanks Joe

That’s awesome. It’s right from my imagination. Where can I get a higher-resolution version of the plans? The isometric image is too small to read.
