I had to beg the local lumber guy to cut a piece off of his long, fantastic, amazingly figured mahogany stick for me. I might have to buy the rest now as these spoons look way cool to me with the figure in them.
Made as a matched set, they will be mounted on something so they may be hung from a wall. Comments welcomed.

These are very nice pieces. Too nice for everyday use. They should be hung from a wall for display. The wood is gorgeous. You are right about getting the rest of it.

yes, gorgeous wood.
Even though they are stunning pieces of art I’d still want to bring them out to use when company comes. Can’t you see me? “Salad?” and the next 1/2 hour would be spent looking at the utensils!!! :)
