I needed to just go out and work on a simple project this weekend. I’ve been wanting to make a wooden logic puzzle like this for a while now so I grabbed a couple pieces of leftover maple from the scrap bucket and went after it. I found the description, dimensions, and solution to this puzzle here. It’s nothing too fancy or complicated but it was fun to make. :-)

I’ve been trying to make these with the dado jig on my table saw with so so results, always too tight or too loose for my taste. The router jig idea looks like it is worth a try and I’m going to go for it. Thanks for the post and the good references.

Thanks guys! Paul, I did mine on the table saw as well and got so so results too. I just used my regular saw blade though and nibbled away the gaps since none of them are very wide. Next time I might try the router table or even building a sled like this for the table saw.
