Hey Jocks, here is the Leopard box named for it leopard like skin appearance. This is one of a recent run of five box that I’ve been working on and is the one I really like, the figured Walnut top and Bird Eye Maple base really play well together. The finish is a Danish oil and French Polish finish. Thanks again to J Schultz for his inspiration on this style box…take care Blkcherry

BC…..Nice combo of woods. You are making me blush every time you give me credit as your inspiration. I really like the walnut, maple choice….a nice look. The little hip-roof lid is a nice touch, too. You are on a roll!

Really nice.
I just love that top, and the finish is really something that I need to invest in.

beautiful work Wilson – from what I can see the finish on the top is spectacular and I think the pictures don’t do the box justice – must get a closeup on that mirror finish top with proper lighting to make us realize the level of shine on that finish

These are getting better and better. Really great Birdseye Maple. I can see the snakeskin effect. Very good proportions on the bevels.

-- Robert, so much inspiration here, and now time to work!!!
