I decided it was time to find another place for all the magazines that were in the living room. So I made a space in my office…took the measurements to hubby and said “hey…wanna project?” *BG He made this for me within a few hours. I painted the inside and the frame is hickory and I used tung oil on that part. Now I am thinking since it looks so nice to see if he will do the framework around the other shelves and I can paint them up and have a whole matching set. I put in both pics..almost done and set into place.

Yes, I think you should make him do the others to match. Looks nice, and besides, I know you ladies love to give us projects to keep us out of trouble. :-)

That is a nice storage cabinet. And the inside gives it a unique touch. I am glad to see you have him so well trained- your #1 projects become his #1 projects.
You and my wife think alike- only in her case there are a plethora of #1 projects and, at least according to her, I am too slow about completing them.

Well you know the ol saying “if momma taint happy…nobody is happy” LOL Actually he enjoyed making it for me. I didn’t buy all these tools to collect dust. So winter is the time to get him to do projects that I myself can’t do. When “golf” comes around..he’s out the door. *BG Thanks for the nice comments and yeah I think I will have him redo the front on the other ones. Before golf comes up!
