Well I made the wine bottle holder and finished it the other day. I finally finished the votive candle holder today and snapped some pictures. I think this would make a great little set on someones table for dinner. Unfortunatly I didn’t have any candles with me or a wine bottle. I will add some pics later with the candles and bottle. Both are made from oak and purple heart.

Thanks Larry. I definetly like combining different color woods, things just look so much better that way.

Looks like a great set, nice combination. I need to work more on combining some woods for projects, have only tried it a few times but like the way it looks.

Chris- I’m right there with ya. I’m still trying to get combining woods down. The cuts have to be perfect or else it definetly shows. These two pieces are probably the best glue ups I’ve done (should I be admitting that?).
