This one belongs to the other 2 white painted cabinets.
I never took good pictures of it, and asked my dear neighbour if i could make some.
I made it in 2009, one of my first commisions after finishing school.
It’s made from a combination of mdf and pine.
It also stands on wheels, so my neighbour could move it when it needs cleaning.

Awesome job. I love your design and how original it is.

very nice painting on this piece . What kind of paint did you use ? It looks like enamel . The use of (casters ? ) for mobility for cleaning is a convenient idea . What kind of rollers were used ? The design is very nice . The design on the drawer fronts is understated and seem to give a nice symmetry as a design element . I’m sure your customer was pleased with this furniture . How is the weather in Holland this time of year ? Any snow yet ? Very mild here , still at the end of the record drought year . To the north things are proceeding as usual….It was -7 c in my summer home in the mountains today with light wet snow. I could go there if I wish but I think I will remain south for the mild winter expected here and just watch it on the webb cam . The 7,600 ft. elevation is nice for the summer but very cold for the winter . My friends expect me home ….perhaps in the spring or summer I will join them. They closed the mountain road over the pass late this year . One night ,two weeks ago, a very unusual heavy rainfall fell and a road was washed away near the pass in the dark . A family drove into the rushing waters and were swept away . Very sad . The Mayor of my hometown was next to drive into the abyss ,but fortunately his car was not swept away . He had to remain there for many hours untill he was rescued . Fate smiled upon him …that day . The road is closed now ….the bears and elk and moose will be heading to lower elevations as the winter snows grow deeper and deeper and swallow the landscape in silence . Always nice to see your work, Thomas…........take care ….. M
