This is a birthday present made from the leftovers of my bandsaw box project. It has changed shape and dimensions a few times during turning, because I found out I didn’t have the right tools and experience to make a pen stand with a narrow hole in the center, which was the original idea.
Maybe that’s the reason why it can be both, a paper clip holder (with a rare earth magnet in a hole right in the center) and a tea light holder. Again finished with a couple of layers of bee wax.
I might have accomplished something in softer wood, but scraping away all that material with a gauge would have taken forever and killed my basic tools.
