I had a little time to kill while waiting for stain to dry on another project and thought I’d try my hand at one of these bandsaw boxes. I got inspired to try it after looking at all the different photos on here. I made it out of one solid cherry cut-off left over from another project. Let me know what you think. Still need to make a couple small knobs for the drawers. Think I’ll do some small round maple knobs.

That cherry will just get nicer looking as it ages.

Very nice!

Here’s a small tip / suggestion for you – place a thin layer of felt under each drawer. That way they slide nicely AND it evens up the gap between the top and bottom.

Keep up the great work!

Anyone know of any good books on how to do bandsaw boxes?

Darn it!

KnotCurser must be a mind reader – his post not only makes the same points as I was going to write, but he uses almost exactly the same words!

But I’ll add that the cherry looks super, and the entry points are very difficult to spot.
