a 16×16x21 tall End table/night stand. Just trying to get a woodshop up and going to try and make some money. A simple, solid hardwood, table with a beautiful clear poly finish to allow all the natural beauty of the wood through.

Great job.
Is the Purple heart whats inlaid in the top and shelf? Good wood combination, the colors all blend very well together.
Good luck with making money in your shop. There are a number of us here, myself included, who make a living doing this. It is a wild, complicated at times hair pulling ride but in the end its more then worth it. Just make sure you are stuborn and never change your path. You cant make it with one foot in the shallow end, you gotta dive in the deep end.
Nice work! I would love to see your shop.

A really good start, grit your teeth, and just keep going, especially when the going gets tough.

Hey guys! Thanks for the compliments! The purple heart is in the top rails and the shelves, walnut in bottom rails. As far as the deep end goes, I have 2 months to make it happen, i’m thousands out of pocket for start up, so needless to say i took the high dive! Can’t wait for the tough part to come…..it can only get better! :)

As the shop is being put together yet, I will see what i can do to get the pics up!
