This is an original design. I got tired of the cords taking up to many plugs so cranked this out in under an hour. I am going to mount a small PS on the bottom of this shelf.

Update:

I got the Power Strip mounted under the shelf today and got the cables mostly organized. It worked out as well as I had hoped.

Good idea. It does get them out of the way. I, like a number of others, just relegate mine to a corner of the bench where they tie up bench space.

Thanks for the post.

The sides and the back are a bit taller than the front piece, it is made from red oak. I used my 2 3/8” forestner bit to drill a hole in the center about 1 1/2” form the back edge, then used my jig saw to cut that into a U shape to the back edge. I had to have a hole large enough to get the Dremmel charger though it.

Great idea, I’ve been thinking about doing something like that for years. I’m sick and tired of tangled cords and hunting for the right charger for the right tool on and on. You’ve made up my mind. Thanks mike
