Lily, my 3 year old daughter, needed her own set of tools, so she could work with her Daddy. The set includes: a hammer & board with removable pegs (for nailing), a hand saw, an open-ended wrench & board with 2 wooden nuts (to wrench), a sanding block (with felt bottom), a block plane (with felt bottom) and her own personalized toolbox. All pieces were made from reclaimed pallet wood. I’m thinking I can get her to start working on our new addition any day now while I sit back and enjoy a few cold beers.

My daughter’s name is Lily, too. I know she would have loved this when she was 3, but now she’s 11 ging on 21. Showed her this and all she could say is “so”. Enjoy it while you can, they grow too fast!!!!!!

Yes she will grow up so fast it wont be long and she will want to borrow the keys… to your shop.
Enyoy every second she plays with her tools, this time you have is so precious.

This is a great toy tool set. I’ve never seen one before that had a block plane. Very Cool !

I rarely use the word, but this is adorable. Love the block plane. From my own experience with my daughter at that age, I can hear yours saying over and over in the shop “Daddy, watch me!” Super stuff, including the freehand routed name that looks like it was done right after a few cold ones and all the better for that.

It’s a very nice children’s tool set. Way to go dad.
