This project was at the request of some ladies in our church who said they needed something a bit sturdier that the wicker basket they we using ..see it in the pictures above. I used curly maple with mahogany inlay and some left over handles. I over sized everything because ya just never know how much you may need.
I also added a top so they could store things on top with out damage to the dividers.(which do come out) What isn’t seen is the top would not lay flat so I used about 6 rare earth magnets that were mounted into the corners with corresponding washers on the underside. All held in place with a little epoxy.
A light pecan stain followed by several coats of poly. They loved it.

Well I bet they would love it. “Church ladies”, my mother was one, are sweetly appreciative of things like this. The stripe around the middle makes it real special. You got some karma coming.
