This is on that has been in the works for long time and finally got it done. It’s carved in one solid piece of hard maple. Stained and finished with spray laquer and mounted on a soft maple base, it’s a prototype for a very large one I intend to do later.(NOT in hard maple)

That is spectacular. It makes me want some fried fish. Nice job, I look forward to seeing the “larger” one when you make it.

Shoot I don’t know. I think those nets would be like a magicians hat and make anything disappear that got near it, they’re so beautiful. Nice work!
