Painting is now complete, we have started assembly, but it is a school night and my daughter had to go in. The colors go with the motif of my nieces nursery. My sis-in-law didn’t find out the sex of the child and went with an airplane motif as her daddy is a pilot. The prop was very challenging to get right, it required a lot of hand sanding to get it shaped just so. Hope to finish it tomorrow will post when it is done.

sIKE,
That plane is awesome, my wife just commissioned me to make one for our up coming son’s room. Looks like alot of fun, did you scroll saw the propeller? Looks great!

No I used the pattern that was provided and used the badsaw to rough it and then worked the edges with the block plane, chisels, my Auriou rasp, and finally sandpaper. It took some time and I think it came out very well.
