Lj’s

I had some idea for a laminated bowl for some time. The plan was a bit different that the end result…......well…...yeah…...that happens sometimes. I didn’t make a exact drawing before starting the project. I should have made a wider bowl, that way the ” wings” would have been bigger. Still it’s a funny little thing.

Thanks for watching

What a very nice design.

Beautiful use of lines which help define and heighten the shape of the bowl. Of course now you know you’re going to get hooked on this theme, don’t you? All well and good. I for one will be looking out for more like this.

This is like the curve in the cosmos, fooling around with space-time. Careful you don’t get sucked in. Very pretty.

@oregonburl : GotBurl ? Needburl!!

@SASmith : It measures 140×100x60 mm

Thanks for all the nice comments.

Yesterday I made the drawings for a new one with better dimensions. I’ll be using the same woods because I’ve got a lot of this laying around.

Eye catching. The laminations accent the gentle curves – just awesome…
