LJ’s

I had this box for some time laying around. I couldn’t think of a nice idea for a handle. Last week it come to me : a curved handle made out of walnut.

i ‘m very happy with the result. This box really needed a handle because the lid was to big to pick up with one hand.

Thanks for watching

Neat! I like it.

I like the box, and the lift works nicely. Sometimes it’s good to let things set for a while, as the inspiration develops.

Cool handle and I like the curved box divider or is that an optical illusion?

Well done Rick – the handle really makes the box. I also like the way you did the interior of the box.

I’ll echo RogerBean, all my best stuff comes after unconsciously or consciously hashing it out over time and yours seems to be no exception. Second thoughts delayed are often best thoughts.
Great handle on a fine box, the shape is very nicely in tune with the pattern of the grain.

@jumbojack : the divider is also curved. Just a few pieces of veneer glued together !!
