This is the project that Keith and I ( kolwdwrkr, http://lumberjocks.com/kolwdwrkr) made for the Halloween 2011 Challenge…to make something to hold Halloween candy. We talked about making something together to enter for a couple of days, so this morning we got up and decided to just go for it and came up with this idea.

I did some internet searches to come up with the Grimm Reaper, and transferred our design to the material. Keith cut out the pieces, and came up with the bottom “container” portion while I toll painted the Reaper. It’s just a quick afternoon project (not the most stellar woodworking, but fun and something to do together).
Happy Halloween fellow LJ’s!!

Thanks for looking :)

This turned out excellent! Perfectly themed for the holiday and the Halloween 2011 LumberJock Challenge.
