Hi all,
I turned this trophy made of cedar and bloodwood from a raffle.
It was challenging to get a stable piece with a very light wood like cedar used on the base.
- sand the piece to 600 grid
- sanding sealer (2 coats)
- alternating lacquer coats with wet sanding from 1000 to 12000 using micromesh & paint thinner
- one coat of cleansing wax rubbed
Hope the winner will like it !
Great day

Beautiful work.
The grain is excellent and the finish is superb!
