This is a tea tray I made for my mother. It’s made from a piece of cherry I received from my grandmother. This is my first time doing hand cut dovetails (besides some trial runs on some scrap) and I feel they came out pretty good. I finished this project with some semi gloss polyurethane. Some minor blotching did occur…probably should have conditioned the wood before hand, but oh well. The bottom is simply a scrap piece of Luan flooring and it turned out very nice. I really enjoyed making this and hope you enjoy reading it!

This looks great! My mother ask me to build her a tea set tray for her just Sunday! You have saved me tons of time and I hope my dovetails turn out as well as yours did. Great Job!
