This unit is about 12 feet long by 7 1/2 feet high the TV sits on a platform that will pull out an adjusted for viewing anywhere in the room. On the top behind a crown molding I ran a 12 foot rope lights for accent lighting, I also put in three pucks lights over the picture that is on a dimmer so you can control the lighting. After I finished the unit the couple could not stand their old fireplace mantel it just did not look right with the new unit so you guessed it I had to make a new mantel to go with the unit, when finished they were happy with everything and that made me happy.

I can see why you had to make a new mantle for them. The lighting above the crown molding adds nice touch to the wall unit.
Nice project.
