New products to be launched on website next week as still awaiting pestles.
Larger mortar made using a solid lump of European Oak.
Smaller (still 130mm2) ones made using 22mm oak flooring offcuts laminated and worked.
Already have preorders for these so it’s back to the cellar Monday morning for me!

Nice design. So what advice can you give for finishing something like this? Just mineral oil?

yes, just 3 coats applied 24 hours apart. Providing you have sanded through the grades.
