These are my latest turnings.
The first is a hollow form made of cedar burl. It is 9” wide by 6” tall. The second is another hollow form made from juniper 4.5” wide x 5” tall. Both are finished with multiple coats of gloss wipe on poly. The first pen is made from teak with a cigar pen kit, the second is maple with a black chrome cigar pen kit. Thanks for looking comments and critiques are always welcome.

I really like the juniper turning. The cedar has some impressive figure as well.

The grain in pic 2 is unreal. I had never seen a cedar burl before.
Thanks for sharing.

That has to be the best looking cedar I’ve seen.

Thanks all, both the juniper and cedar were great pieces of wood. Rodger, the cedar is finished with gloss wipe on poly.
