I made two of these, they went at the foot of the bed. They are made out of hard maple and as you can see the finish is hand painted. The legs are turned on the lathe and the reeding was done on the legacy ornamental mill. What I call a banjo box was made to put over the top part of the leg to mount the clip so it could be turned and reeded.
