First shot at wine stoppers

Gave these a shot as I am a wine lover, and am planning on giving a bunch of these out for Christmas. Don’t usually have to worry about sealing a bottle up as I’m not normally one to leave any :-) Really enjoy doing these as both of them started out as something different on paper, and in my head, but screwed up both and this is what I created. Maple and Walnut. I feel the walnut one is a little too large, but again… first shot. Please be brutally honest with any criticisms as I don’t feel I will get better by getting pats on the back.
