Sweet! I love those keyed tenons. That wood grain is rather nice as well.

You have such a creative mind. The wood grain is wonderful.

I give up, why the opening in the middle of the table with the curved pieces bending into the hole?

No matter what, it’s a beautiful table.

I think the center hole is simply to have people go “Wow” how did they do that. A second explanation is that it could be there is a waste basket placed below the hole and this is a “Brain Session” table, where ideas get thrown out all the time.

beautiful piece Aviad.

Herb- the opening in the center in conference tables is for all the wires and cables for phones, computers, and presentation accessories (projectors/monitors/etc) so that there aren’t any cables running all over the table itself. there is usually a set of receptacles just under the table for power, telephony, computer networks, etc so the room and table stays clear of all that mess and keeps its pristine appearance.

Projects like this is why I’m on this website… So much inspiration to draw from pieces like this. Great piece of work.

The build is fantastic but the finish is spectacular. Love it!
