Freehand Cross

This is a cross that I did with some spare cedar and ambrosia maple. The whole thing is free hand and intended to be more expression than precision. Before it was finished a family friend claimed it and this one will go in the mail tomorrow. I am not a photographer and wish the pictures showed the grain and the contrast better. This piece is about a foot tall and probably only 5 inches wide. There is some personal inscription on the back for the receiver as well.

Beautiful wood. A little artistic flair!
